Katie Zuverink has been a successful entrepreneur in the mental health space since 2018.
After working in leadership roles for over a decade in various types of mental health settings, from private practice groups to schools and community agencies, she spearheaded the opening of a mental health franchise office in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Leading that office through rapid growth an d expansion, Katie relocated back home to DFW in 2020.
New Roots Counseling, founded in 2022 in Frisco, TX provides children’s counseling, couples counseling, counseling for teens and tweens, and family counseling for Frisco, Plano, The Colony, Prosper a nd surrounding cities.
“At New Roots Counseling in Frisco, we only hire the most thoughtful and creative counselors. They are all driven to work WITH you , learning what your hopes and goals are, then helping you achieve them in a way that works for you and your family,” Katie shares. Katie is a big believer in making sure the counseling space feels great. “Our Frisco Counseling office is designed to be comfortable, inviting and modern. When I go to my own counseling, I want to look forward to being in the space. That’s how we want you to feel. When you get here, check yourself in, grab a cup of coffee and a snack.
Katie’s vision for New Roots Counseling in Frisco this: to be a counseling office that puts the needs of you and your family first, from focusing on your keeping kids thriving, to strengthening your marriage or surviving through your divorce well.
New Roots Grand Opening Event in 2023 was a Smash Hit!
We had a blast celebrating all the hard work the team has put in.
We were joined by colleagues, friends and family, as well as community partners who have all worked together to help make this dream a reality.
The people of Frisco are better served because New Roots Counseling is so well supported by this crew.
We had food, drinks, music, a photobooth (hilarious!), a spinner for prizes, and lots of other silly games to play. It was too fun.
New Roots Counselors got to show off our new, beautiful space and explain how we do what we do, and why we are so passionate about it. We’re excited to keep working so hard to take care of the families and individuals in Frisco!
